R.I.P. Denis Gordon Campbell ~ 2/5/48 - 14/9/16













Funeral ~ 22nd September 2016
 Held at
Woronora Memorial Park
121 Linden Drive
Sutherland NSW




Denis's Funeral was held today 22nd September 2016.

A two hour trip with my husband Brian to Sutherland Woronora Memorial Park with our dear friends Christine and Colin.

We stopped at Albion Park Rail Chinese and had a lovely lunch on the way to the service.

It was a miserable wet windy day sadly.

We arrived at the Memorial Park around 1:30pm and met with some friends and neighbours who were also attending.
We entered the Chapel for a most beautiful service. The entire service was so professionally organised. 
The Grand Daughters bravely stood up and read together the most gorgeous Poem about their Grandpa and how they got through it without breaking down was just amazing.
We watched a screened tutorial on Denis's life and we just enjoyed seeing how this wonderful man loved life to the fullest.
After the service as we were leaving the Chapel a beautiful song came on "Always look on the bright side of Life" ~ loved it. A beautiful touch to finish off of beautiful service for a very special person.
R.I.P. Denis.

15th September 2016 ~ World Wide Open Design Team Challenge #14

My DT Project for the World Wide Open Design Team Challenge #14 for 15th September 2016

 I have coloured image with Copics and then made her into 3D
My Ores were made from Kebab Wooden Sticks which I have coloured with a light brown Copic pen for the Ores and then for the handles I have used a dark brown Copic pen.

  • My Designer Card Scene is from the 12x12 Couture Creations "Sea Breeze" Collection which I have fussy cut out and used as the base background of my card. I have used Brown and Cream American Craft Cardstock and also fussy cut out sections to enhance the features.
  • My Little Wooden Ores are made out of Kebab Sticks which I have coloured with light brown/dark Brown Copic Pens
  • The Acetate Shapes (frame behind Lighthouse and Black Crow) are from KaiserCraft Acetate Shapes 13th Hour
  • My Cream Hession strip I purchased from The Scrap Shack

Moonflower Card created for my Friend




Have been a bit unwell last couple of weeks so being under the weather I decided to spend a day making a card.
I won this image in a Challenge and had it in a file so I thought I would get her out and colour her up and make her into a card just for fun.
The image is from Moonflower Digi Stamps.
I must say I was impressed with their images, so impressed I asked Moonflower to sponsor one of our Classic Design Team Open Challenges next year. 
Card Recipe:
  • Moonflower Digi Stamp "Gypsy Flower" ~ You can find her HERE! 
  • I have coloured my Image with the following Copics: G00 B02 Y28 B05 B00 E000 E00 R20 R27 BV25 BG05 E35 C5
  • I have made Lattice work on the side of my card from a tutorial I found at Stamping Imperfection with Kim Skinner, if you would like to see the tutorial you can see how this Lattice work is done HERE! Instead of leaving the Lattice work with open effect, I have lined it with white cardstock
  • My Bow was made with Zutter "Bow-It-All" Bow maker and I have used 1+1/2" Aqua double sided Satin Ribbon
  • Glitter Cardstock Colour is "Powder" and I have gone over the top of the Glitter paper with an Aqua Copic Pen to enhance the richness of the Glitter Cardstock from Bella Glitz
  • All other Cardstocks used in my card are from American Crafts
