SBC Teepee Tutorial ~

Hello Friends,

Annette here for the Scrapbook Blessings Club and today for Friday's Cards.

I would like to feature today the Teepee Card today which I found on Splitcoasters.

The Teepee Card is extremely simple and quick to make and fun to decorate in various ways. 

For this Teepee Project, I have used the perfect My Besties Digi Stamp IMG690 and kept it simple by just adding a small amount of beaded trimmed edging, a Prima Flower/Leaf plus a Die Cut Feather in the contrasting Black Dot Designer paper.

Tip of the day:
Mark your Teepee Panels with a pencil for a guide to know which section/panel you want your co-ordinating designer papers to be adhered to

Now onto my project:-

• I am using a Quill Metalique Board 285gsm for my Teepee
• Cut 3 pieces measuring 6" x 6"

• Score each of the panels across on the diagonal with your score board

• For a guide to know where to attach your designer printed papers, it is a good idea to overlap your Teepee panel sections first to see how your panels will fit and which panel goes on in the order of your choice ~ I generally put a mark with a pencil for a guide

• Cut two designer papers measuring 5+3/4" x 5+3/4" and score again on the diagonal

• Cut each designer paper across the scored line and attach them to your Teepee with double sided adhesive tape in the desired order required
• Once you have attached your designer papers  your Teepee is ready for attaching each panel section with double sided adhesive Tape
• This is a very simple design to make ~ your Teepee is ready for decorating with your embellishments and digital stamps etc.

• Here is my finished project ~ as you can see I have used the stripe designer paper for my main Teepee upper sections and the lower sections is the black dot print

My Besties International Xmas Card Invitation

I would like to thank My Besties International for inviting me to participate in their Christmas Event.

The Theme I have chosen to make a card on is 

"Christmas plus Music"

This is a creation which is an Easel Gift Box Card.

I have used a pre-colored My Besties Xmas Digital Stamp where I have enhanced the image with my Copic's also using True Snow with Glitter and I have also utilized the various colors on the Digi with colored Glitter Glue. The image has 4 layers.
Although my card is featured as an Easel ~ due to the exceptional weight of all of my 
additions, the card required strengthening, so therefore my Easel is completely separate to the platform. I have built the Easel up with supporting extra Kaiser Cardstock and made it into a diamond shape so all of the 3 sides are all strengthened and supported and will stand upright without bending. The Easel can be adhered to the Platform with double sided adhesive tape.

• Indian's Dress Color I have overlayed 3 different colour tones by using Copic Number: C-1 then I have used Marvy 1122 LePlumeII for the second colour and for my last colour of the top of the two previous colors I have used Copic R17. By blending these 3 colors together it gave a more reddish brown effect. I also used the same coloring for the Shoes and also the Feathers. 
• Face: Copics E000 E00 E11 plus Stampin' Up Blendabilities Natural
• Tassles, Eyes and Dress Contrast: Copic E00 E15 ~ Stampin' Up Blendabilities Natural and Bronze
• Hair Ribbon plus Feather tips and Necklace I have used Marvy 1122 LePlume II
